The (FAS) Florida Academic Scholars and (FMS) Florida Medallion Scholars Scholarships are part of the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program. Both scholarships are state-funded and provide recipients with financial assistance at different levels. For students who earn the FMS, 100 percent of tuition is covered. For students who earn the FAS, 75 percent of tuition is covered.
Recipients of the FAS need to earn a score of 1330 on the SAT or a 29 ACT composite score. The FMS is much less challenging. Recipients of the FMS only need to either earn a score of 1190 on the SAT or a 24 composite score on the ACT.
Yes. Put simply, they are different tests, so each test has its own bootcamp.
Bootcamp sessions occur 2 times per week for a total of 12 sessions. Each session is 90 minutes. That means you are receiving 18 hours of face-to-face test prep instruction from local high school teachers who have taught and tutored SAT and ACT test prep for nearly a decade.
Bootcamps are $800. We do give group discounts and other discounts. At the end of the day, you are spending money to get the tools needed to save you tens of thousand of dollars through Florida scholarships and given yourself a competitive edge in college admissions. Contact us for details.
Yes. The new test is shorter and now students have more time for each question. Plus, the Science Subtest is now optional!
